Toppled Tree, Windy Hill Preserve, Portola Valley, 2017
A brief pause in the rainy weather gave me an opportunity to visit Windy Hill Preserve. A tree, roots weakened by the rain, was toppled beside the trail, but otherwise all is well. It’s nice to see green grass growing, and mushrooms, too.
