Intersecting cement structures at SFO connect the short-term parking and terminals. The photo was taken with my iPhone 7plus and then processed in Adobe Lightroom mobile.
A modern airport like San Francisco’s is truly amazing, but it wasn’t always like that. Consider this photo of the airport at Billings, MT in the 50’s. The Frontier Airlines pilot landed and taxied to within a few feet of the gate where he stopped to allow passengers to deplane. It was just a short walk to mom’s car for the ride home.
As the gallery below shows, the modern “airport” has plenty of structure and style. These are iPhone shots from recent New Hampshire trips.
