Meyer Memorial Library (named UGLY by undergrads who spent a lot of time in the former Under Graduate Library) was broken up, crushed on site and the rubble recycled.

plaza and landscaping will replace the library. Meanwhile, the undergrads have moved to Lathrop Library (newly reconditioned Grad School of Business library).

The ‘Beat Cal’ banner used to hang from the top floor of Meyer Library on Big Game days; I suppose a committee is searching for a new location.
