Looking toward Byxbee Park from Palo Alto baylands boat launch

Partially sunny, rain predicted for the afternoon. After a week of rain, drought or not, my one love emerges—sunshine. So, I headed for the Baylands boat launch. Here is the view towards Byxbee Park.

Meanwhile, over in the park, a pair of Canada Geese stake out a claim for a nesting site.

I liked it better when the Canada Geese migrated back to Canada in the summer.

And, in this bush, a song sparrow looks for his partner. Spring is only a few days away.
