Wouldn’t it be nice to put some 29 cents-per-gallon gas in your wagon. Check out this old gas pump on display at the Old Court House Museum in Redwood City. I remember gas at that price during the summer of 1960 in Seattle, WA. Wow! What a memory.
There is a little bit of everything in this museum of California and San Mateo County history: a restored 1880 era country store, a modern coastside surfer animation (you can try your skill), tributes to local sport stars, and all sorts of historical artifacts that were found on the San Francisco peninsula.
