The buildings and art on the Med School campus are edgy and modern, which fits in well with the high technology approach to medical education. I imagine laser beams and magnetic fields when I walk in this part of campus.

Was there a rule about keeping your shadow out of the photo? I must have missed that day.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix S9500. The main settings were f 6.8 and ISO 125. I processed the picture in Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 on my Macbook Pro to get straight lines and sharp corners. I used the Filter menu and selected Correct Camera Distortion and adjusted both the Horizontal and Vertical perspective.

The last photo was adjusted for lens distortion also. The Coolpix S9500 is my favorite camera (excluding the iPhone) for taking on walks about campus. It is small, light weight and has a terrific zoom.

Cheers, and a Happy Thanksgiving to Photographers everywhere.
