At Stanford the color Cardinal prevails about memorial fountain, but the other colors of the rainbow are also seen. The fountain is on for the day (tinted blue, courtesy of Photoshop), but will go dry tomorrow because of the California drought. It was a welcome sight today.
Note: the water used by the fountain was saved for later reuse in watering plants and trees on campus.
The Daily Post Weekly Photo challenge is “Roy G. Biv”, which is an acronym of the first letters of the colors of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Follow the link to see how bloggers responded to the challenge.
